Code of the Guild

Have Fun This is why we are all here. This also means we all will keep in mind that this is a game.

No Drama (see rule 1)

Here are some guidelines we will ask our guild members to follow to ensure that we will have no drama.

Violation of any of the following guidelines may lead to demotion, removal of privileges, or expulsion from the guild:

No remarks disparaging others for their race, color, religion, creed, gender, or sexuality will be tolerated.

No harassment stalking, bashing, bullying will not be tolerated within the guild.

Helping Others It is always in the best interest of the guild to help lower level guild members when needed with difficult quests, leveling, and instances. This is encouraged but not mandatory. If you are in need of help, ask one of the members, but remember that they have obligations to their own characters. If the say no, or some other time, simply say “ok, thanks.” At no time will begging for help, run thru’s, or gold be permitted. This is rude and annoying, and you will find yourself blacklisted, demoted and/or removed from the guild.

Don’t spread rumors We want to be able to trust one another. Whether on ventrilo, or in guild chat – don’t do it. If you want the truth about a guild issue, ask an officer in a private tell.

Be good citizens of Echo Isles When you interact with the server community, you represent the whole guild. As such, please respect all your fellow players. When disagreements occur, try to take the matter to tells and resolve it privately. If the disagreement remains unresolved, bring the incident to the attention of a guild officer, council, or GM.

Farming when grinding skills or raising cash for elite mounts and items, characters will find that they are involved in some level of farming. We ask that you be respectful of lower level characters when harvesting in zones below your level when engaging in such activities.

Ninja Looting Ninja Looting puts a black mark on your reputation and the reputation of your guild - don't do it.

Flaming While it certainly gives one a great deal of personal satisfaction to do something vindictive to an individual you feel has wronged you or the guild, this can make you look as immature and unreasonable as you feel the other party to be, and reflects this impression on the guild. No flaming in guild chat, Wow forums, General or Trade channel by guild members will be tolerated.

Intentional provoking or “messing with people” is not appropriate behavior for guild members.  We love to be silly, joke, and have fun here, but any actions toward non-guild or guild members that can be interpreted as harassing or malicious will lead to disciplinary action based on severity of the incident.

Participation Initiates will be expelled if they have not been on line in the last 30 days. All other ranks will be expelled if they have not been on line in the last 60 days. Real life of course happens – if you will be out of town, please send a note to the GM, council, or one of the officers.

Crafting for others within the guild is done free of charge if the customer provides all the materials including those purchased from the trade vendors.

Alts You may have two alternates in the guild if you have attained the rank of Member or higher. You may have unlimited alts in the guild once you have reached level 80.

Guild Bank Rules:

Guild members are not obligated to participate in the banking system.  If you do choose to participate, please observe the following Guild Vault rules: The GM, Council, and officers have access to all guild bank records.

Withdrawing is a privilege earned by donating. Nuff said.

Bank items are not to be disenchanted by guild members unless specifically approved by an officer. Donated gear and weapons         are specifically for gearing characters, not for leveling enchanting.

Items withdrawn for the sole purpose of gaining skill points in a profession (such as rare gems) should be placed back into the guild vault, once crafted, for use by guild members and should never end up on the Auction House for personal gain.

Reputation turn-ins are in the vault for the benefit of guild members, but as with all items, please do not withdraw if you do not plan to deposit.

Do not withdraw items on your main to send to an alt who is not a member of the guild.  Items and materials in the bank are for toons that are members of the guild only.

Items should be withdrawn for the purpose of improving a guild character's gear, reputation or crafting skill, NEVER to make gold.

The Guild Vault should never be treated as a more convenient or less expensive auction house.

Violation of Guild Bank Rules can be grounds for disciplinary action including the removal of all guild privileges, and/or expulsion from the guild. When in doubt, ask an officer, council member, or GM.
